Spider Pole details   (available from Spiderbeam)

Here is the pole.  It is about 45in long and has 12 sections which total about 39ft when extended.

This is what the inside of the pole joint looks like.  This pole stays extended by friction.   Note the roughed up area to improve the co-efficient of friction.
