How I implamented TortiseSVN

1  Download and install PowerSDR 1.6.0 from flex-radio.com

2  Download and install this .msi file:

TortoiseSVN-1.3.3.6219-svn-1.3.1.msi

from this site:

http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=138498&package_id=151948 

it is the third file down the list.  Don't download the .src zip file but the .msi file.  After you install you will be prompted to restart.. so restart.

3  Open windows explorer and create a folder called SVN_release and open that folder

4  right click SVN_release and choose the "SVN Commit..." option.  A box will open and paste this URL into the url field:

svn://206.216.146.154/svn/repos_sdr_windows/PowerSDR/trunk/bin/Release

Several files will download into the "SVN_release" folder

5  Go to the folder where you have PowerSDR 1.6.0 and copy the following files to the SVN_release folder

ADOBD.dll
Microsoft.Directx.DirectInput.dll
Microsoft.directX.dll

Double click PowerSDR and it will start.  The first thing it will do is start FFTW_wisdom and create a file called wisdom.  This is a one time deal and will take a few minutes.  Next it will start the initialization dialogue.  Complete that and you will have the latest beta version going for you.  To upgrade the beta just right click the SVN_release folder and click SVN Update, or you can make a copy of this folder and move it if you want to compile a library of beta releases. 

It took me longer to write this than it takes to implament this.
